Interviu cu o autoare: Kimberly Miller

Revin cu un nou interviu :) . De data aceasta, Kimberly Miller ne-a prezentat romanul ei, “Triangles” si a raspuns la cateva intrebari.

~~~***~~~***~~~
TrianglesA cruise ship. A beautiful island. Two sexy guys. What could possibly go wrong?
In the Bermuda Triangle—a lot.
Hoping to leave behind the reminders of her crappy life–her father’s death years ago, her mother’s medical problems, and the loser who’s practically stalking her–seventeen-year-old Autumn Taylor hops on a ship with her sister for a little distraction. When she wakes up in the Bermuda Triangle, she fears she’s gone nuts for more than one reason: that loser’s suddenly claiming they’re a happy couple… a hot guy is wrapping his arms around her and saying „Happy Anniversary”… and suddenly, she’s full of bruises, losing her hair, and getting IV medication. Autumn visits the ship’s doctor, hoping for a pill or a shot to make the craziness go away. Instead, she’s warned that these „alternate realities” could become permanent.
She just has to ask herself one question—how the hell is she going to get out of this mess?
~~~***~~~***~~~

1. First of all, thank you very much for granting me this interview. I was wondering whether you would like to tell us something about yourself.

Sure! Here is my author bio from the Spencer Hill Press website: Kimberly Miller received Bachelor’s degrees from Georgian Court University and Rutgers University and a Master’s degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She is an avid reader and particularly enjoys true crime and young adult novels. She grew up in New Jersey and currently resides in Monmouth County with her husband and three cats. When she’s not writing, she loves to travel to sunny islands where she snorkels by day and stargazes by night. She always takes her Nook with her.

2. Can you tell us what inspired you to write “Triangles”:

What inspired me to write the story is my love for Bermuda. I’ve been there five times and hope to go back. It’s one of the safest, cleanest, nicest islands I’ve traveled to, and I have stayed on the island and cruised there. The people are amazing, the island is beautiful, and the weather is perfect. Plus, they have the Bermuda Triangle! I wanted to capture a unique premise that hadn’t been done before, and the Bermuda Triangle came to mind, thus giving us Triangles!

3. What can you share about your novel?

Here is the blurb:

A cruise ship. A beautiful island. Two sexy guys. What could possibly go wrong?

4. I believe all readers and perhaps the writers as well imagine what would happen if they were granted a few hours with a character of their choosing. If you were to spend some time with your characters where would you go and what would you do?

I would hang out with them on the cruise ship as it headed toward Bermuda!

5. Do you have a favorite author?

Jennifer Armentrout and her Covenant and Lux series are currently my favorites. There are a lot of amazing YA authors out there, but her snarky characters and fun stories really entertain me!

6. You have a time capsule and the possibility to preserve three books for the people of the future. What books would you choose?

Can I cheat and say three nooks or kindles full of books? I would fill one with educational books, one with great fiction, and one with history books.

7. A genie appears in front of you one day and promises to take you to a place of your choosing. Where would you go?

New Zealand, to visit the set of Lord of the Rings and Hobbiton. The scenery was so amazing in those movies, I’ve wanted to go since I first saw the hobbit homes!

8. You have a mirror that shows you a person of your choosing from the past and/or present. That person can be anyone: a president, a king, a queen, a writer etc. You can ask him or her only one question. Who would it be and what would you ask that person?

I think I would like to talk to Albert Einstein. What would I ask him? I would ask what he thinks of the fantastic technology we have today.

9. An enchanted lake can give you a glimpse of the past. Which year/period would you like to discover?

I think the Medieval period would be really cool to explore.

10. Would you like to add anything else?
